From City Girl to Ranch Wife - The Beginning of Prairie Grace
This blog has been on my heart for a while, and I'm so glad you're here. My hope is that it becomes a quiet place of encouragement - as I share pieces of my life, my questions, and the grace I'm learning to hold on to.
I'm Hannah - a city girl turned ranch wife, and anything but a cowgirl. My husband and I met and married five years ago and now we have two little girls, Gemma and Opal, who are two and a half and one.
I can honestly say these past five years have been some of the hardest of my life. Not because I don't love the life I have - I do - but because of the loneliness, the identify shifts that come with motherhood, the challenge of entering a culture I didn't grow up in, and struggles in my faith I never expected.
Through it all, I've found comfort in knowing that we're not alone. That even in the questions and quiet heartaches, there's beauty to be found - especially in the small things.
That's what I hope this blog becomes: A place for honesty. For faith. For motherhood. For beauty in the ordinary. A place to hold on to grace through the ups and downs - even when we're not sure what that looks like.
Thanks for being here. I hope you find something that blesses and encourages you.
- Hannah
